Approach to Giving

Giving Focus

We focus our quarterly grant-making on organizations that align with our mission and address our funding priorities. We fund innovative non-profit programs with an emphasis on sustainable agriculture and organic farming as well as initiatives designed to increase organic food production and consumption. The UNFI Foundation also funds educational programs that enhance the awareness of the benefits of healthy food choices.

We will accept grant applications from eligible 501(c)(3) organizations based in the United States.
