ICNC’s mission is to promote a sustainable future by nurturing individuals through environmental education, providing leadership in land protection and restoration and encouraging responsible interaction with nature. The purpose of Etzel Sugar Grove Farm is to establish sustainable, economically viable permaculture farming practices and create champions of nature through education and replication of these practices. ICNC’s vision of the farm is to create a sustainable, economically viable organic permaculture farm to educate farmers, ag lenders, land owners, procurement directors, academia, youth and other community partners on the importance of sustainable farming practices.  Much of the Nature Center's land, declared a National Environmental Study Area by the National Park Service, is open to free public use.

Indy Hunger Network (IHN) is a collective impact organization composed of leading anti-hunger organizations working together to make a hunger-free Indianapolis. IHN and partner organizations collaborate to regularly identify opportunities to build a more efficient and effective food assistance system. IHN advocates for food justice by focusing efforts on improving access to healthy food for all and working to address higher rates of food insecurity in African American and immigrant communities.

Just Roots is a nonprofit community organization located in Greenfield, Massachusetts. We began in 2008 as a grassroots group of concerned citizens looking to promote vegetable gardening and grow food on municipal land. Our goal is to increase knowledge about and demand for local food in Franklin County. Just Roots mission is to create equitable access to healthy local food in Western Massachusetts, and work toward just, vibrant, and sustainable farm and food systems everywhere.

KCCG is a non-profit membership organization that helps people grow vegetables and fruit from garden plots and orchards located in backyards, schoolyards, vacant lots and community sites. KCCG offers low-cost seed and plant varieties chosen to thrive in the Kansas City climate along with garden resources, free educational workshops and technical assistance… all to help your garden and orchard thrive!

La Cocina VA DBA Kitchen of Purpose uses the power of food as an agent for social and economic change and providing healthy food assistance in the Washington, D.C. area. We offer bilingual, vocational and technical education to underserved people of color, especially women. At the Zero Barriers Training and Entrepreneurship Center, Kitchen of Purpose is expanding our Job Training Programs, building a strong Small Business Incubator, and scaling up the Food Assistance Program.

Land for Good's mission is to ensure the future of farming in New England by putting more farmers more securely on more land.

Land to Learn is a growing garden-based education program that serves more than 5,000 children in New York’s Hudson Valley. We strive for food justice and community wellness through garden-based education. In the communities that need it most, we work to empower our students so that they have the knowledge, social and emotional skills, perspective, and encouragement needed to understand and address challenges in their communities, starting with brave healthy eating and academic success.

LEAF Project’s mission is to cultivate youth leaders from diverse backgrounds through meaningful work in the food system. The LEAF Project’s model and mission are now more important than ever. Our region is experiencing both a serious crisis in youth mental health resulting from disconnection over the last 2 years and serious problems in our food system from the pandemic resulting in profound disruption in the food supply chain and a deeper awareness of how close to food insecurity many are.

Loaves and Fishes mission is to provide healthy meals to Minnesotans in areas where need is greatest.

Lovin' Spoonfuls is dedicated to facilitating the rescue and distribution of healthy, fresh food that would otherwise be discarded. Lovin' Spoonfuls works efficiently to deliver this food directly to the community organizations and resources where it can have the greatest impact. Lovin' Spoonfuls is committed to addressing the health, environmental, and economic impact that food waste has on our community.
