50 Grants in 50 States

This year, UNFI turns 50 — and the UNFI Foundation is marking the milestone by investing in the future. Through its 50 for 50 initiative, the Foundation will award 50 grants across all 50 U.S. states in 2026. Over the course of the year, it plans to distribute $2 million to programs that strengthen local food systems across North America.
