Land to Learn Inc.

Land to Learn is a growing garden-based education program that serves more than 5,000 children in New York’s Hudson Valley. We strive for food justice and community wellness through garden-based education. In the communities that need it most, we work to empower our students so that they have the knowledge, social and emotional skills, perspective, and encouragement needed to understand and address challenges in their communities, starting with brave healthy eating and academic success.

Harlem Grown Inc.

Harlem Grown is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire youth to lead healthy and ambitious lives through mentorship and hands-on education in urban farming, sustainability, and nutrition.

Compass School

Compass is a multi-age learning community which fosters a passion for learning in all students so they can reach their full potential. We offer a project-based curriculum integrating academic disciplines, emphasizing social responsibility and environmental sustainability, in small classroom settings to prepare each graduate to be a responsible citizen in the global community. Providing opportunities for students to cultivate agricultural skills is an integral part of our mission.

York Fresh Food Farms

York Fresh Food Farms (Y3F) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to reduce hunger in York County, PA. Y3F’s mission is to increase access to safe, healthy food, increase healthy food choices and build a healthier community by operating a sustainable, community-based, nonprofit urban farm. Y3F's programs serve: low income, underserved and food insecure families and individuals in the City of York, PA. Y3F is cultivating community health through agriculture, access and affordability.

Third Sector New England

FRESH New London builds momentum for food system change through local agriculture and youth empowerment. We use food to connect the community, encourage stewardship, inspire leadership, and incite change. Since 2004, FRESH has worked in New London, Connecticut, a distressed urban community with high rates of poverty and food insecurity.  FRESH has developed five community garden sites and gardens at each public school. We grow food with and for the community and teach organic gardening.

The Food Trust

Founded in 1992, The Food Trust works with neighborhoods, institutions, retailers, farmers and policymakers across the country to ensure delicious, nutritious food for all. Backed by three decades of research and evaluation, our holistic, community-centered approach to nutrition security weaves together three core programming elements — access, affordability and education — as well as a focus on advocating for public policy solutions.

Salem Pantry Inc.

The mission of The Salem Pantry is to eradicate hunger in the Salem community by
providing residents in need with nutritious foods in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. In operation since 1991, The Salem Pantry currently provides food to residents of Salem weekly through mobile distribution sites, plus deliveries to home bound individuals and households that have been impacted by COVID-19.

Organic Growers School

Organic Growers School is the premier provider of practical and affordable organic education in the Southern Appalachians.  After 30 years, we continue to build a vibrant food and farming community by boosting the success of organic home growers and farmers.

Northeast Organic Farming Association Massachusetts Chapter

Through education and advocacy NOFA/Mass promotes organic agriculture to expand the production and availability of nutritious food from living soil for the health of individuals, communities and the planet. Our Organic Food Distribution and Community Gardening Project includes intensive education in organic food production, and also distributing organic food through Open Pantry in Springfield Massachusetts. NOFA/Mass already partners with many Springfield organizations, particularly communities who are food insecure and living in food deserts where access to fresh food is unavailable.
