Organic Farming Research Foundation

As a champion of organic farmers across the U.S., we work to foster the improvement and widespread adoption of organic farming systems by cultivating organic research, education, and federal policies that bring more farmers and acreage into organic production. Through these efforts, we are working to create a more resilient and sustainable agricultural system that values healthy environments and healthy people.

Foodcorps Inc.

FoodCorps believes in a future where every child—regardless of race, place, or class—gets the nourishment they need to thrive. We partner with people dedicated to creating that future: from educators and school leaders, to national alliances and community-based organizations, to our AmeriCorps service members and students themselves. We collaborate with these peers to demonstrate the power of food in schools and ensure our country’s systems work together to nurture every child’s potential.

University of Georgia Foundation

The Fulton Fresh Mobile Market was created in 2008 to educate residents living in communities designated as food deserts on the importance of fresh, in-season produce. Each week of the program, Fulton Fresh staff provide a 30-minute UGA Extension SNAP-Ed nutrition education food demonstration to market attendees, who are also provided with a free 8-10lb bag of in-season produce from our mobile market. After several years of successful adult programming, Fulton Fresh will add a Kids’ Market summer program this year.

Pie Ranch

Pie Ranch’s mission is to cultivate a healthy and just food system from seed to table through food education, farmer pathways, and regional partnerships. We are on a mission to create a different pie that benefits everyone equally. Through our support for early-stage farmers, youth education, and food systems projects, we are developing a model of economically sustainable regenerative farms that honor the land, promote joy and healing, and will create abundance for future generations.

National Young Farmers Coalition

The National Young Farmers Coalition is a grassroots network of beginning farmers, ranchers, and supporters working together for a brighter, more equitable future for U.S. agriculture. We envision a country where young people who are willing to work hard, get trained, and take a little risk can support themselves and their families in farming. The Coalition tackles the structural challenges preventing young people from succeeding in farming and ranching, such as access to land, credit, and skilled labor, climate challenges, health insurance, racial injustice, and student loan debt.

Ceres Community Project

Since 2007, Ceres’ core program, Healing Meals for Healthy Communities, has created and delivered organic, nourishing meals for thousands of people experiencing health crisis. With an overarching commitment to Food as Medicine, Ceres meals help our clients with serious illness by relieving stress, preventing malnutrition, and connecting nourishing food to health. We use all organic foods, mostly fresh and local, to maximize our meals’ healing power and reduce exposure to toxins. Notably, we are the only meal service that puts youth at the heart of this work.

CCOF Foundation

The CCOF Foundation advances organic agriculture for a healthy world by investing in the education of new organic farmers and producers, helping consumers understand the benefits of organic, assisting organic farmers in times of disaster, providing ongoing training for organic professionals and supporting farmers transitioning to certified organic practices.

Organic Seed Alliance

Organic Seed Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that advances ethical seed solutions to meet food and farming needs in a changing world. Our work ensures an abundant and diverse supply of ecologically grown seed, tended in perpetuity by skilled and diverse communities of seed stewards.
