Oregon Tilth

Oregon Tilth is a leading certifier, educator, and advocate for organic agriculture and products. Since 1974, we have worked to build a brighter food future for all by balancing the needs of people and the planet. Our mission is to make our food system and agriculture biologically sound and socially equitable. Oregon Tilth shaped the first organic standards, created programs to support the adoption of organic climate smart practices, and directly works with thousands of farmers.

Just Roots

The mission of Just Roots is to create equitable access to healthy, local food in Western Massachusetts and to work toward just, vibrant, and sustainable farm and food systems everywhere. Just Roots began in 2011 as a grassroots community farm in Greenfield, MA, with the goal of growing fresh, local food and making it accessible to families of all income levels. We work to increase food security for vulnerable families and deepen participation in and understanding of our local food system.

ICNC’s mission is to promote a sustainable future by nurturing individuals through environmental education, providing leadership in land protection and restoration and encouraging responsible interaction with nature. The purpose of Etzel Sugar Grove Farm is to establish sustainable, economically viable permaculture farming practices and create champions of nature through education and replication of these practices.

Hunger Task Force Inc.

Hunger Task Force created The Farm for the express purpose of growing healthy food to ensure fresh produce access for the poor. Established in 2012, The Farm grows hundreds of thousands of pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables each growing season for low-income seniors, families and children throughout Milwaukee County on 80 acres of the 208-acre property.

Harlem Grown Inc.

Harlem Grown is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire youth to lead healthy and ambitious lives through mentorship and hands-on education in urban farming, sustainability, and nutrition.

Guidestone

Guidestone’s Farm to School Program provides fresh, local produce and education to Salida School District (SSD) and the Salida community. Recently, through a local food assessment community feedback process, Guidestone is seeing increased food insecurity in our valley due to economic pressures from COVID-19, the closure of the largest produce farm within an hour, and the closure of the only local grocery carrying significant amounts of locally produced foods.

Gleaning Network of Texas

GROW North Texas is a non-profit that works to connect North Texans to food, farms, and community in order to create a sustainable, secure regional food system that enriches the land, encourages economic opportunity through food and agriculture, and provides equitable access to healthy, nutritious food for all residents.

Gardeneers

Gardeneers cultivates customized school garden programs to ensure each space, and the students and communities who care for them, connect with healthy food and grow to their full potential. Gardeneers was founded in 2014 to provide more equitable access to healthy food and food education for Chicago youth living in food desert communities. We currently serve a network of 20 partner schools in low income, high crime rate communities of Chicago that are also food insecure, where residents do not have convenient or affordable access to fresh healthy foods.
