The Salvation Army, Central Territory

Champaign IL Salvation Army established 1889 is part of an international movement, part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs in His name without discrimination. In 2020, we served over 55,000 people. The Salvation Army provides basic needs to stabilize households in crisis. Intensive case management helps overcome barriers to self-sufficiency.
