RestoreOKC

RestoreOKC is a community development organization focused on the restoration of health, environment, reconciliation, and equity with neighbors in Northeast Oklahoma City.

In Her Shoes Inc.

Our mission is to improve quality of life and increase economic sustainability among underserved women and minority populations. In Her Shoes opened Farmacy Marketplace, the only grocery store with fresh, healthy options in a 20 mile radius of Mound Bayou, MS.

SPROUT NOLA

SPROUT supports small-scale and sustainable farmers in Louisiana with technical and social support to build a stronger community of growers and help all New Orleanians be part of a community food system. We work for community control of food, recognizing that food sovereignty requires everyone is given access to locally produced, culturally relevant food. Our work addresses food access problems at their root by giving New Orleanians a stake in their own food, from production to composting.

All Relations United

We utilize the Lakota philosophy of Mitakuye Oyasin, "we are all related," as our guiding principle, to unite, reinvest in and empower our communities. We use traditional teachings along with modern and technological knowledge to advance education, promote culture, further self-sufficiency especially food sovereignty, and to encourage reconciliation and cooperation among all peoples, creating pathways to living in unity.

Sustainable Food Center Inc.

Sustainable Food Center (SFC) transforms the food system to nourish our health, land, and livelihoods. Our deep relationships with regional producers and longtime programs that improve access to nutritious foods have enabled SFC to expand our scope statewide. We effect positive change through programs that support small and midsize farmers, increase nutritious food access, and advocate for policies that support regenerative agricultural practices and state funding for nutrition incentives.

Guidestone

Guidestone’s Farm to School Program provides fresh, local produce and education to Salida School District (SSD) and the Salida community. Recently, through a local food assessment community feedback process, Guidestone is seeing increased food insecurity in our valley due to economic pressures from COVID-19, the closure of the largest produce farm within an hour, and the closure of the only local grocery carrying significant amounts of locally produced foods.

Gleaning Network of Texas

GROW North Texas is a non-profit that works to connect North Texans to food, farms, and community in order to create a sustainable, secure regional food system that enriches the land, encourages economic opportunity through food and agriculture, and provides equitable access to healthy, nutritious food for all residents.
