Ceres Community Project

Since 2007, Ceres’ core program, Healing Meals for Healthy Communities, has created and delivered organic, nourishing meals for thousands of people experiencing health crisis. With an overarching commitment to Food as Medicine, Ceres meals help our clients with serious illness by relieving stress, preventing malnutrition, and connecting nourishing food to health. We use all organic foods, mostly fresh and local, to maximize our meals’ healing power and reduce exposure to toxins. Notably, we are the only meal service that puts youth at the heart of this work.

Center for a Green Future

Growing to Give’s mission is to grow organic vegetables using climate-friendly farming methods, and donate them to local people struggling with food insecurity. We believe the way we farm matters. That is why we are certified organic, amend our soil with carbon sequestering biochar, use mostly solar powered farm equipment and low-till farming practices. Since 2017, we have grown and donated over 50,000 pounds of organic vegetables providing thousands of local people with fresh, healthy food.

CCOF Foundation

The CCOF Foundation advances organic agriculture for a healthy world by investing in the education of new organic farmers and producers, helping consumers understand the benefits of organic, assisting organic farmers in times of disaster, providing ongoing training for organic professionals and supporting farmers transitioning to certified organic practices.
