Alchemist CDC

Alchemist CDC is a mission-driven organization that connects Sacramento area communities to land, food, and opportunity toward a vision in which all neighborhoods are vibrant, equitable, healthy, and diverse. We are best known for enhancing the quality of life in under-resourced communities by improving access to nutritious foods, implementing community-supported public green spaces, and fostering economic self-sufficiency through business entrepreneurship.

Replate

Replate’s mission is to reduce food waste and mitigate climate change while improving access to nutritious meals for communities experiencing food insecurity. We are a community-based, food rescue solution that operates at the intersection of technology and impact. Replate was founded in 2016 by Maen Mahfoud, CEO, whose vision as a Syrian immigrant is to solve the dual problems of food waste and food insecurity through a tech-enabled social enterprise focused on generating systems level impact.

The Good Acre

The Good Acre unlocks economic opportunity for farmers in our region, especially those who historically have been excluded from opportunities to make a viable living. Our unique combination of personalized support and market development promotes both economic well-being and a more sustainable, resilient, and community-centered food system. We approach our work through partnerships that create meaningful, long-lasting market access for farmers and food access for our communities.
