Alchemist CDC is a mission-driven organization that connects Sacramento area communities to land, food, and opportunity toward a vision in which all neighborhoods are vibrant, equitable, healthy, and diverse. We are best known for enhancing the quality of life in under-resourced communities by improving access to nutritious foods, implementing community-supported public green spaces, and fostering economic self-sufficiency through business entrepreneurship.
Replate’s mission is to reduce food waste and mitigate climate change while improving access to nutritious meals for communities experiencing food insecurity. We are a community-based, food rescue solution that operates at the intersection of technology and impact. Replate was founded in 2016 by Maen Mahfoud, CEO, whose vision as a Syrian immigrant is to solve the dual problems of food waste and food insecurity through a tech-enabled social enterprise focused on generating systems level impact.

We serve meals and rescue food in Aitkin, Anoka, Carlton, Carver, Cass, Dakota, Hennepin, Lake, Lyon, Mille Lacs, Ramsey, Scott, Sherburne, Stearns, St. Louis, and Washington counties and continue to expand into Greater Minnesota.

YMCA Southcoast’s mission is the improvement of the spiritual, mental, social, educational, and physical conditions of all persons. It has provided health and social services throughout the southcoast region for 150 years.
Sharing the Harvest Community Farm (STH), a project of YMCA Southcoast, is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven community farm established in 2006 as a grassroots effort to alleviate hunger for families on the south coast of Massachusetts.

Land For Good (LFG) aims to keep farmland in farming. LFG’s mission is to ensure the future of farming in New England by putting more farmers more securely on more land. LFG aspires to a secure local and regional food supply, and healthy food access for all. LFG has a track record as an organic ag supporter. For over a decade, LFG has provided land access training and advising to organic farmers in collaboration with the Organic Farming Associations in New England.
DC Central Kitchen’s (DCCK’s) mission is to use food as a tool to strengthen bodies, empower minds, and build communities. We train people with high barriers to employment for culinary careers and employ more than 130 of our graduates in our social enterprises, fighting hunger’s immediate effects and root causes through innovative partnerships with local farms, front-line nonprofits, schools, and corner stores.
